The Holly Martins (Eric Vogler- guitar, Kasey Knudsen- alto sax, me- scatting) play the series, "Willamette Underground: Jazz and Improvisational Music- The Art of the Trio", which is a year-long venture into the area of trios, also to include (spread out through their academic year) other visiting performers such as Paris' Kandinsky Effect, LA's Matt Mayhall Trio, etc. The whole thing has been set up by Willamette University's main improvising cat up there, one James Miley.

Saxophoist/composer Jacob Rex Zimmerman's going-away party-- the lame-assed punk-bitch is moving back to Seattle-- in which a large ensemble of instrumentalists, vocalists (including, apparently, yours truly), and dancers will be interpreting music typically associated with various films from the Disney canon. Also co-organized, I believe, by Harry Bowles.
